Avlaki is a tiny, but high quality, artisanal operation, based on the Greek island of Lesvos. Their golden organic olive oils have the finest ‘gourmet’ quality, with a light texture and sensational taste and are best used as ‘finishing’ oils – to be drizzled over vegetables after steaming, on soups, with a touch of lemon on salads…or just served with bread for dunking. You can use them for cooking but we think that would be a shame – given the taste!
James is passionate about food and started handmaking chocolates in 1995 when he was working at a delicatessen in Bristol. He was curious to find out how to create chocolates from scratch, so in the evenings he read about chocolate making and then started to blend his own creations in his kitchen at home. James Chocolates have now been having serious fun with good quality chocolate for over 15 years so have been around long enough to know what works! They make a wide range of great tasting British chocolates that are simply but beautifully branded and packaged – proudly combining big flavours with striking designs.
