There’s a first time for everything

At last count, with stands filling up fast, there will be 32 first time exhibitors at The Food & Drink Trade Show in June, alongside our regular exhibitors! We all like to see new things and with cakes, clotted cream, confectionery, tea, spirits, wine and more, you’ll be spoilt for choice! Here’s just four of them, to give you a little taster. You’ll have to come to the show to see the rest!

BBQ GourmetBBQ Gourmet
BBQ Gourmet was founded in 2013 to promote real BBQ and provide the UK and Europe with easy access to the best competition-winning BBQ rubs, sauces, marinades, brines and accessories from the United States and around the world.  They will be showcasing counter-top and floor-standing retail display cases stocked with a range of Championship -winning BBQ rubs from the United States.  They will also be showing the excellent range of award-winning Rufus Teague BBQ sauces.  (Stand C16).

Cotteswold DairyCotteswold Dairy
Cotteswold Dairy has been a family- owned independent dairy since 1938.  Working with local farmers, within a 30 mile radius of the dairy, means that they are able to supply the highest quality milk, cream and other dairy produce direct to your door and to wholesalers and retailers across their vast distribution area.  This 3rd generation family-owned dairy was awarded the accolade of Family Business of the Year at the 2014 Cotswold Life Family Business Awards.  (Stand B5).

Gino GelatoGino Gelato
Started in 2009 Gino is an award winning product and brand.  Their gelato is made with 100% natural ingredients and 100% fresh milk, and is free of additives, colourings, preservatives and flavourings.  They have been successfully supplying some of the finest restaurants and venues in London and have decided it’s time for a much wider audience to enjoy their gelato.  They are therefore introducing a new 500ml tub retail product range.  They are also proud to have been recently certified by SALSA having passed their audit with flying colors.  (Stand E12).

Just KiddingJust Kidding
The Observer has announced that Kid Meat is the Food Trend of 2015 and Just Kidding are purveyors of award winning quality Cotswold Kid Meat.  All their kids are reared free range and pasture fed to enhance both the welfare of their animals and the flavour of the meat.   Amongst their clients are Gourmet Goat, who have started to use their meat for all the street food they sell at Borough Market in London.  Just Kidding are also finalists for the 2015 Western Daily Press Food and Farming Awards.  (Stand NC1).

That just leaves another 28 first timers to find out more about at the show. Still, with less than six weeks to go now, at least you don’t have too long to wait!
